Mojotone Black Magic pickup set with polished, raw, nickel-silver covers from API.
Note: Mojotone does not offer the Black Magic pickups covered, so I did it myself.
The black pole-piece screws were replaced with vintage correct (1010 steel) nickel-plated screws.
The lock nuts were added to secure the screws (especially the ones under the cover).
The wiring is Bill Lawrence, White-hot, Black-ground, Blue-shield/ground).
The pickups output is medium high, the voicing is aggressive, with a strong upper mid/presence peak.
These pickups would be good in any humbucker guitar that you are having issues with a muddy neck pickup and an indistinct bridge pickup.
These pickups have the standard Gibson pole piece spacing - The bridge pickup is Not F-spaced.
If you are not familiar with the Black Magic pickups, I would pass on these as I'm not offering any returns.
