Personal Thoughts:
This all-over Double Gold 2025 '57 Les Paul Custom is a real head-turner. Unlike traditional Goldtops, this version carries the Double Gold finish across the front, back, and neck, giving it a uniform, opulent look that’s incredibly rare—even among Custom Shop builds.
The Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging is tastefully done—soft lacquer checking and subtle aging on the gold hardware that give this guitar the feel of a well-preserved golden-era classic. Paired with the rosewood fretboard and 1-piece mahogany body, the tone is full, resonant, and rich with harmonic detail.
With the overwound bridge and underwound neck ’57 Classics, this guitar covers an impressive range—from thick, biting leads to sweet, open cleans. If you're after a Les Paul that’s as visually distinctive as it is sonically powerful, this one absolutely delivers.
