The SeaWind Tenor Sax is one of the most highly acclaimed modern saxophones. Designed by the illustrious Canadian jazz musician, Phil Dwyer, these instruments are manufactured in Taiwan and assembled and tuned by hand here in Canada. The instrument was modeled on the Selmer SBA that Phil has played for many decades. As such, it has the rich, resonant sound of a vintage instrument combined with the ergonomics and action of a modern one. The best of both worlds. A number of professionals who have reviewed these instruments say it is the closest to the sound and feel of a Selmer Mark VI than any modern sax they have tried.

The SeaWind Tenor is currently retailing for $4,999 (plus 12% tax) in Canada. This one has only been played locally and has been very well cared for. It is in excellent playing condition, and there are no dents or scratches in the lacquer. It has the beautiful SeaWind Orca engraving designed by an indigenous artist. There is a modest amount of tarnishing at the neck socket and bell joint, and some discoloration around some of the valve covers, as shown in the photos. It was recently serviced and inspected for leaks by the manufacturer (SeaWind Instruments).
