Absolutely Amazing Guitar! (Stock #1354)

This is a special one! It doesn’t get much better than this! This was a great guitar to begin with. It has great wood, and sounded great. Then we sent it to Historic Makeovers for a Deluxe Makeover, including Brazilian fretboard, ultra-thin nitrocellulose, hide glue neck reset, parts shadowing. Every part has been upgraded to high-end repro parts from various manufacturers (Retro-spec, Montreux, OX4 Pickups, etc). The top on this guitar is unbelievable. It has tons of movement and just beautiful strong, wide flame with no dead spots. The color is perfect. HM knocked the color out of the park on the refin. We matched the color and burst pattern to the original Carmelita. They absolutely nailed the color. The aging looks great, very convincing and gives a nice broken in feel. As beautiful as this guitar is, the tone is where it really shines. This guitar feels alive. It has incredible resonance and sound like a great LP should. It sounds great in all 3 pickup positions. Playability is off the charts. It has a great feeling neck that is somewhat thin but not overly thin with a C shape. This guitar is in excellent condition. It is lightly aged with finish checking and playwear. Some original hardware is included, original pickups are not. Pickup are OX4, some of the best PAF repros out there.
