2012 Gibson Les Paul

Custom Shop MADURO - these are a bit rare - don't see em too often.

I've had this one for some time now. If it sells OK - if not, well thats OK too.

Best of my knowledge, only made in 2012. (limited)

The name maduro is a description of the very, very dark brown color. Darker than oxblood IMO.

Originally I was just looking for a LP Custom with a rosewood fretboard, only after did I understand that this was a special one - both the Maduro's and this LP as well. (nice and resonant)

When I got it - the original pups and wiring were gone. (it had other wiring and pups)

Years ago - I put a MojoTone 50's wiring kit in it along with a Tim Shaw PAF in the bridge and a Burstbucker in the neck - such a good sounding combo.

Neck thickness at the 1rst is approx .86" and the 12th is around .98"

Weighs a little over 9 lbs.

I'm not a pro - but have been lucky enough to have had multiple Les Paul's throughout the years - the neck profile feels somewhere between a D and C shape. Best I can describe it.

Has some typical player marks - nothing to substantial. (see pics)

OHSC is in the same condition as when I got it - overall in great shape - except the bottom / backside is worn pretty good. (see pics)

We all prefer certain things when it comes to guitars - I just changed strings, and cleaned it up - I'd suggest to have a professional guitar tech / luthier set it up how you like it - string gauge, action, tuning, intonation etc etc.

I like my action a bit low - so thats how its set up right now. I prefer thicker gauge strings too.
