Fat Valco neck pickup with a monster tone. The kind of strings you use will dramatically alter the sound and feel of the bass. The Piezo in the bridge has less output, but has a wonderful, upright sound that is good for recording. Double finger anchors work for thumb or fingerstyle playing.
