This is a sweet Mod Shop build by someone with a cool taste for out-of-the-box Strat ideas. The Ocean Turquoise finish is timeless, the hardtail spec, and what was Mahogany neck swapped for a classy-as-heck channel bound neck. If youve never played one of these, they are like butter, smooth and silky all the way round.
Driving this guy under the hood are a set of Custom Shop '54 single coil pickups, clean and chimey, but also gritty when necessary. The neck features a maple back with embedded rosewood fingerboard, 21 medium jumbo frets, and a modern C profile. 25.5" standard scale length, but with a compound radius ranging from 9.5"-14", and Fender modern locking tuners. Final weight of 8lbs. 4oz. on my scale.
Conditionally, this guitar is a beauty. Incredibly low mileage, and very few (if any) marks of play. There is a ton of life in the frets, and it's setup for 10's out of the gate.
