Zildjian 11” Splash or Crash Cymbal
A. Zildjian 11” Cymbal in great condition, over 75 years old.
No Keyhole. However, the hole is slightly irregular due to Hi-Hat use. I’ve used it as a splash.
Several flea bites and a couple of rough areas. Otherwise, the edge is smooth to the touch. Please see photos.
Exact measurement appears to be 11 6/8th inch throughout.
410 grams approximate weight.
From my research the stamp indicates the cymbal was made between 1929-46 and retains remnants of the glue from the original label, as well as what appears to be the cymbalsmith’s signature.
Due to its age and amount of play it has the usual fingerprints and stick marks. I don’t clean cymbals. I bought this cymbal in 2005 used. This cymbal has a degree of build-up over the years and the underside shows signs of being used as a hi-hat cymbal. See photos.
