The 1976 Gibson Explorer is a significant model in the history of electric guitars, marking the return of a radical design that had originally debuted in 1958. This reissue was part of Gibson's Limited Edition series, celebrating the U.S. Bicentennial and catering to the growing demand for more aggressive and visually striking instruments.
The original pick guard has been replaced, and there is some slight separation of one of the wings!
