Made In Japan!
This is really Cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1975 Morris W-30 Acoustic-Electric Dreadnought Guitar. Morris W-30, made in Japan 1975, natural finish. Morris stuff did really well in Japan for several decades; these earlier examples are nicely made little Martin-style guitars that punch well above their price bracket. This one is based off the iconic D-28, so it's got a traditional square shoulder dreadnought shape with a dovetail joint, rosewood back and sides and a tasty tightly grained spruce top. The binding and rosette really make the golden aged spruce pop; it's a gorgeous looking thing. The tone is big: beefy and boisterous in the low end, balanced by a bright and brilliant treble that means all your notes come out clear and strong. The neck is slim, straight and slick; it feels comfy and never makes you work hard for it. This is a friendly, big hearted acoustic... take it home to meet the family.
The former owner installed a Fishman sound hole pickup. Sounds Great!

Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 50 year old guitar that has been played. There are some light strumming scratches on the pickguard as well as the Top. There are some light scratches and indentations on the Top also. The Back has some marks from being held next to the player's body. Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock in fine shape. Hard shell Case has some scuffs, scratches and minor tears in the tolex. Interior is in good shape. Overall, a very solid vintage guitar in very good condition.
