Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller.

While Sire is strongly associated with the JB style, this M series has modern features and is highly praised.

The body is made of Swamp Ash, the fingerboard is Ebony, and the neck is Maple.

It features original humbucking pickups and a 3-band EQ preamp.
