The "Deep C" maple neck features "Super-Natural" satin finishing and rolled fingerboard edges, eliminating the sharp, sticky feel of new instruments and replacing it with the comfort of a well-loved favorite. Fender has also sculpted the neck heel to provide effortless access to the upper register, a welcome change for lead players used to fighting the traditional blocky joint.
