Iconic, audiophile, MARANTZ solid-state integrated amplifier that made music history! This is a real monster! It had a prohibitive retail price back in the early ‘90s, but it was in line with its high-end status. Uncompromising build quality, a genuine (and extremely elegant) tank with 100 watts of output power per channel and a detailed, clear very well- balanced sound with low distortion for that unmistakable pure and rich Marantz tone.

This amp is in such good condition that it looks like it has just come out of the factory. It is totally IMMACULATE, really MINT – MINT – MINT condition, clearly belonging to a fanatic of his Hi-Fi system, otherwise it would not have reached us in such good condition!

The Marantz PM-80, released in 1989 during the “Golden Era” of Japanese high-fidelity audio equipment, was designed in particular to provide exceptional performance from digital sources. This amp features a large power transformer and a special electrolytic capacitor in the power source. It also spots a great noise reduction circuit. The amp features Class “A” or Class “AB” operation, with a rated output of 25 W per channel (8 ohms) in pure Class “A” and 100 W per channel (8 ohms) in Class “AB” operation. The amp features a total harmonic distortion (THD) of <0.006%.
