Beautiful 28! Plays excellently with fresh set up and medium/large rounded C neck. Nice ebony board with original skinny frets and very little fretwear. Good neck angle with low action and some saddle height remaining. Sounds phenomenal! Loud and musical with deep articulate lows and sparkling highs. Classic scooped D28 tone; harmonically rich and very pleasant to listen to with lots of natural sustain. Sounds great with big open chords or finger picked and would make a great vocal accompaniment. The guitar is very clean for its age! No cracks! The top has some small dings around the edges and the old finish is starting to check. The back has some heavier scratching and belt buckle rash but nothing through the finish. There is a large ding on the bottom of the back of the neck but doesn’t interfere with playing. Overall well kept and looks nice. Awesome player with fantastic tone.
