About the itemThe Behringer Intelligate XR2000 is a two-channel expander, gate and ducker in a rack-mount case. The lid says it in full: "The interactive Class-A expander/gate/ducker, model XR2000". A gate mutes a signal when it drops below a level you set, which keeps hiss, hum and spill out of the gaps.
Key specifications and featuresTwo channels, marked 1 and 2, with a Dual mono / Ch. 1 master switch between them. Each channel has Threshold, Attack, Hold, Release, Ratio and Range controls, a Ducker switch, an In/Out switch and a gain reduction meter in dB. There is also a key filter with low cut and high cut, and a Key listen switch.
