At the heart of this build is a Premium M1 Grade Sitka Spruce top treated with Martin’s Vintage Tone System (VTS). This torrefaction process ages the wood at a cellular level, giving you the structural stability and—more importantly—the broken-in, resonant sound of a guitar from the pre-war era right out of the case. The Ambertone 1933 finish adds a stunning visual warmth that perfectly matches the sonic character of the instrument.

Paired with the VTS top are genuine Mahogany back and sides, a combination that defines the legendary "18-style" sound.
