Just in is this incredible 1965 Fender Jazz Bass. This bass weight is 8.6lbs. The body and paint are in amazing shape for its age. There are a few small dings on it that we tried to picture. The back of the body has very light buckle rash. Once again, a minimal amount for a bass this age. The pickups and electronics and hardware are all original and in great working shape. This bass sounds amazing. The pickups cover and screws are long gone.
The neck is a typical thin Jazz bass neck and is straight as an arrow. The finish on the back of it is also perfect and original. The frets are in good shape for their age, and every note rings loud and clear up and down the neck with low action!
The tuners are original, and you can see they have aged over the years but work perfect.
This is one of the cleanest vintage Fender basses we have seen.
