This listing is for ONE (1) original clear, white, or grey plastic 3" empty reel for your vintage open-reel R2R magnetic tape recorder. They have side 1 and side 2 labeled and can be used for take-up or supply. Some of them show a little yellowing or age-related patina or scuffing. They do not have any cracks 'cuz we throw the cracked ones away. Several in stock - message if you need more.
Various vintage USA and Japan brands available (Soundcraft, Scotch 3M, Webster-Chicago) - request one if you care. Larger 5" and 7" reels, Ampex, Telefunken, Akai, and Sony branded reels, blue reels, and amazing green reels, whenever in stock, are separate listings.
These tiny ones are needed for the "pocket" spy recorders of the late 1960s. Or you could mail a love note home to your beloved.
