This Fender 70's Reissue Jazz Bass was produced by Fender Japan in production year 1996-1997.
The instrument has only minor finish blemishes (see images for the largest ones) and has been upgraded to include an active onboard preamp.
The bass features a maple neck and a bound maple fingerboard with distinctive block inlays, which is a hallmark of the '70s aesthetic. The ash body is solid wood and finished in a natural color.
This JB-75M model utilizes the period-correct three-bolt neck joint with micro-tilt adjustment and a "bullet" truss rod nut, which are hallmarks of the 1970s Fender design.
This Japanese-made instrument from the Fujigen era are known for their exceptional craftsmanship and are often considered high-quality, rivaling or exceeding US models of the same period.
This listing includes a deluxe gig bag.
