• Excellent Cosmetic Condition - Minimal wear
  • New foam installed in grille
  • Sounds excellent - Just like it should, tested against two others
  • XLR Connector

For sale is an Electro-Voice 665, you might easily confuse it with an EV 664, but it is an entirely different microphone. The 665 was designed for broadcast use while the EV 664 was designed for PA use, the 665 had a much more natural sound signature. The 665 in fact had the flattest frequency response out of the 664 and 666! The 664/666 had a much peakier sound signature, with big presence boosts in the treble and things of that nature.

Besides this microphone having a sound signature you could employ today, it also has brand-new foam inside the grille! The new foam will aid in plosive rejection and keep debris out of the grille. It will also look a lot better than having discolored foam that likely smells in there.

Grab the underrated 665 if you'd like a microphone that deserves just as much praise as the 666!
