The evolution of the beloved Starclassic series has reached its latest development: the Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch. After extensive research and product testing, Tama has achieved the perfect combination of walnut and birch for a truly exceptional low-to-mid frequency warmth that beautifully complements the clear attack and high frequency projection of birch. This results in a rich, distinct sound that boasts both familiarity and uniqueness from Tama's previous offerings.

The toms and floor toms of this drum set have a shell made of 6mm thick, 4-ply European Birch and 2-ply American Black Walnut. The bass drum has an 8mm, 5-ply European Birch shell with 2-ply American Black Walnut interiors and a lacquer coating for added liveliness in the sound. With die-cast hoops, Star-Cast Mounting System, and Quick-Lock brackets, this drum set offers precise tuning, a crisp sonic attack, and rock-solid durability for an impressive musical experience.
