Up for sale, a 1986 B.C. Rich Warlock in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Made for the Japanese domestic market as part of the NJ series (short for Nagoya, Japan) and uncommon outside its country of origin, this Warlock features a Gotoh Floyd Rose-licensed tremolo system and an upgraded pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers.
Tonewoods include a basswood body and maple neck capped by a 24-fret rosewood fretboard, and this Warlock weighs 7lbs 15oz. The Seymour Duncan pickups comprise an SH-2 Jazz at the neck and an SH-4 JB at the bridge. The SH-2 Jazz features an AlNiCo V bar magnet and special coil wind, delivering a glassy treble response and full, tight bass, with scooped mids for optimal clarity even under high gain or high speed. The SH-4 JB bridge pickup is Duncan’s original hot-rodded humbucker, with powerful low end, crisp highs, and a slight midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords and translates to a singing, vocal-like quality when playing melodic lines. This Warlock has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Black finish exhibits some finish chipping on the body edges and adjacent to the tremolo (a common occurrence on the Warlock body shape), with just a few additional small dings on the top and back. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original B.C. Rich-branded padded gigbag is included.
