In new condition! Has spent maybe 3 hours outside of its case.
This is a very nice guitar with a super cool finish. I especially love the smoothness of the roasted maple neck. Sounds great in every pickup configuration, and the silent circuit is a nice touch too.
Probably my favorite model of guitar I've ever played - only selling because I have another one just like it.
Classic Design, Modern Performance, Flexible Voice
Blending a classic contoured design with modern appointments, the Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass RS HSS delivers full-throttle tone and comfortable, reliable performance. Benefit from an amazing range of tone, thanks to a flexible HSS pickup configuration, while an active wide-spectrum Silent Circuit ensures hum-free single-coils. Features such as stainless-steel frets and locking tuners add modern touches to this highly playable vintage-inspired instrument. If you appreciate old-school solidbody electric guitars but demand modern features, the Cutlass RS HSS is sure to become your new number one.
Classic design feels comfortable and familiar
The Cutlass RS HSS’s contoured alder body and figured roasted maple neck will feel comfortable and familiar to many players. Two Ernie Ball Music Man mid-'60s-style single-coil pickups exhibit the chime and bell-like tone that has been heard emanating from countless records and performances. And when you flip to the bridge, you’ll be greeted by full-throttle, hard-hitting humbucker tones. This combination is perfect for blues, rock, fusion, country, pop, and more. The Cutlass’s tremolo boasts vintage-style bent-steel saddles for classic tone and feel, while the guitar’s double cutaway and sculpted neck joint allow smooth access to its higher frets.
Jam-packed with multiple modern features
The Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass RS HSS is jam-packed with multiple modern features, providing you with the performance and stability you demand. Schaller locking tuners offer rock-solid stability, even with heavy tremolo use, while 22 stainless steel frets can withstand long-term wear and tear. The Cutlass's compensated string nut enables perfect intonation across the whole length of this solidbody electric guitar’s fingerboard. And the Cutlass RS HSS’s truss rod adjustment wheel, located at the heel of its neck, makes on-the-fly neck relief changes fast and easy.
Groundbreaking Silent Circuit ensures hum-free performance
The Cutlass is loaded with two custom Ernie Ball Music Man mid-'60s-style single-coil pickups. But thanks to the installed active wide-spectrum Silent Circuit, you'll enjoy hum- and buzz-free performance. The Silent Circuit provides 500 hours of battery life for worry-free use while delivering tonal consistency through all five pickup selector positions.
