Very nice example of early 70’s MIJ acoustic jambox. It’s a copy of a Gallagher acoustic. No cracks anywhere and neck joint is solid. There is one slight finish only anomaly at the pickguard but it is not an actual crack-see photo of closeup. The scale is a bit longer at 25 and 5/8”. Sounds great with a heavy pick but if you dig into it on the heavy side, she’ll get a little muddy. All laminated construction but still a great sounding instrument. Medium jumbo frets have tons of life and have been crowned and polished with no buzz. Neck is nice and straight with no bow and has a soft V shape. There are a few dings here and there but certainly not abused. Comes in original semi-soft case. Check out the video below and be sure to blue-tooth to a good speaker to hear how good and playable it sounds. I’m using a medium natural tortoise shell pick. Tuners are upgraded Grover minis and keep in good tune. New bone (unbleached) compensated saddle with plenty of height and original bone nut. String height at the 12th fret is .12” Low E and .108 at the High E with easy playability.
