This 2015 Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand has a prestigious history, used by famous composer John Williams himself as well as many, many other incredible pianists. After playing it for a short time you can see why this piano was hand picked from many others, it plays and sounds amazing. It was featured in the Star Wars Movies franchise in episodes 7-9, Indian Jones and the dial of Destiny as well as The Fabelmans. It is the twin sister to the house Model D concert grand at Walt Disney Concert Hall and was used as the solo piano for the Hollywood Bowl from 2018-2019. It has been played by a diverse range of concert pianists, including Steinway Artists Yuja Wang, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Inon Barnatan and Katia and Marielle Labeque! I have the COA's from the Steinway factory, message me and I can share them with you as well as send you more pictures or a walk around in depth video of the piano! It has had some work done to after it was retired as well, message for details.
