Cassette Radio Alarm Clock - SERVICED

Cassette - Wake-up or Fall Asleep with a Cassette tape (or radio) - In the old days school mates gave to each other mix tapes of their favorites they had created on cassette for each other - And: there are some interesting materials released on Cassette in the 90's - PLAY Cassettes! - Simple - Cheap - Useful - I serviced this unit - so it is in fine working condition - Some one's stocking stuffer this holiday season?

Features: Analog AM/FM Radio, Cassette: Play, Stop, Pause, Fast Forwind, Auto Stop (on Play only) - Alarm Clock: 2 brightness settings: Dimmed Hi / Low, snooze - battery back up to save the clock setting in case of power failure (requires a 9V battery - not included)

Condition: Working: Serviced to fully working, Tested, working great, good sound, good reception - clear and consistent highs: the cassette unit is almost like new - (good heads! - low mileage little use) To mention: Do not Fast Forewind (FF) a cassette tape unattended: If it comes to the end of the tape there is no Auto Stop, so the unit will continue to wind at the end of the tape and be heavily wearing out the belts, shortening the life time of this unit -so: Always stopping the unit manually before it reaches the end of the tape is highly recommended - I can service it when the belts are worn, but it will be starting at $100.

Physical Condition: Good with signs of use, such as scratches, dulling, dis-coloration etc, battery compartment clean

Work Performed: to present this unit in fully working condition: took cassette drive out (see last photo) and replaced both drive belts (cassette unit seems like new with little use). Treated the switches and volume controls with contact cleaner, custom fabricated and installed the clear window for the cassette compartment ( was missing) - physical cleaning and detail work - All above is about at $125 job - my present to you!
