A fantastic Crafted in Japan 50's Telecaster in a vintage burst.
The serial number dates it to '97-'98. Replaced stock pickups with a brand new set of the "Original Vintage" USA pickups as fitted to the AV '52 RI at the time in 1998. Also changed is the original matt black pickguard to a gloss black but the original is included in the sale.
Overall good shape For an almost 30 year old guitar, it's in great condition and has aged gracefully.
At just 7lb 8oz, it's very comfortable and is currently strung and setup with 9 gauge Ernie Ball strings.
Pots and switches are smooth and crackle free.
Maple neck, vintage tuners and a 3 brass saddle bridge.
