1976 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail
This is a strat that any player would love. The all black look is nearly blemish free and the maple fingerboard is comfortable to the hand. The frets offer plenty more play. They are shinny and well crowned for you. All electronics have been cleaned and operate as they should. Everything is original and all gives you that ‘70’s vibe every time you pick her up. The 70’s fat headstock has some discoloration along the tuner poles. We can’t tell if it is light staining or some darker grain to the wood. In either case, the area is sealed, No cracks or structural concerns, and no worries about wood exposure. The 5-way switch offers a world of options. We love these hardtails. They are relatively rare (compared to the standard trem strat) and are super fun to play. Comes in original hardshell case, in good overall condition. It has stenciled a name from former owner or band. We decided just to leave that. Adds to the mojo and history. Latches are well used but functional. If you have been jonesing for a very unique and special ‘70’s strat, you can’t fill that bill any better than with this beauty.
