Take a journey back to 1955 with this meticulously crafted 1955 Telecaster® Journeyman Relic® from the Fender Custom Shop. Its lightweight, resonant 2-piece select ash body wears a Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Super Aged Sonic Blue, imparting the look of a well-loved original from the mid-50s. The quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable 1960 Oval "C" profile and is topped with a 1-piece quartersawn maple fingerboard outfitted with 21 narrow tall frets.
This Tele is equipped with a pair of Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55/'56 single-coil Tele pickups for that unmistakable snap and twang. The 3-way blade switch provides classic Tele tones from the bridge pickup alone, both pickups together, or the neck pickup by itself.
The 1955 Telecaster Journeyman Relic comes protected in a deluxe hardshell case and includes a certificate of authenticity from the Fender Custom Shop. This exquisite recreation brings you back to the golden era of the Telecaster.
