A nice, honest Strat in a classic look – lightweight, simple and absolutely uncomplicated. The likely Indian-Laurel fingerboard combined with the almost unfinished maple neck feels pleasant. The neck has a comfortable C-shape, though the maple surface may feel a bit rough for some players. If that bothers you, a few minutes with very fine sandpaper solves it easily.

When you pick it up, the moderate weight of around 3.0 kg is immediately noticeable. It definitely sounds like a Strat, but the original base tone was… let’s say: improvable. The real weak point was the fretwork: very uneven, inconsistent heights, in places almost unplayable. We carefully leveled, recrowned and polished the frets, and now it plays cleanly and feels like a proper instrument.

Visually it’s very well done: classic 3-tone sunburst, a nice fingerboard, and an expensive look for little money. A good-looking workhorse – perfect for beginners, rehearsal rooms or sofa sessions.

And yes: there’s more work in this guitar than guitar in this work.
It happens – but we want people to get an instrument they can actually play. Nothing is worse than a beginner giving up because of a poorly set up guitar.
