On tonight's episode of Bachelorette Guitars, we've got an American beauty who recently celebrated her 60th birthday - this 1965 Mosrite Mark I Ventures model. Folks, she's more than a guitar - she's truly a work of art. Her timeless curves are as seductive as ever, and in the hands of an experienced man (or woman), her (original) pickups are capable of everything from a sensual purr to the wild throaty howls you'd expect from a vintage Mosrite. It's no exaggeration to say that she has aged like a fine wine. Sure, her Pearl White finish has yellowed, and her lacquer finish has checked and cracked. She's acquired a few bumps and dings over the years, and her pickguard has shrunk a bit and perhaps doesn't fit as well as it did in her youth, but who among us is immune to the effects of aging? She may be a sexagenarian, but age is just a number - plug her in, plop her on your lap, run your hands over her and she'll instantly remind you that she's as fervid and frisky as she ever was. A gentleman's touch on that vibrato arm while fingering a minor chord will produce a warble that will produce goosebumps and a smile that can not be restrained.

If you're thinking of taking this pretty lady home, here are a few things you should know:

•She did have a minor procedure done this year - her toggle switch wasn't as loose and limber as it used to be, so The Doctor installed a new switch. He also installed new pots while he was already poking around in there. (Original wiring - dated pots with capacitor, original switch, jack - will be included in the sale.)

•Her case appears original but is a bit beat up and has a few stickers that reflect her youth. (You won't be disappointed.)

•As stated, her original Pearl White nitro finish has yellowed and shows checking/cracks/dings/blemishes/etc. These should all be visible in the photos. (The short of it: she probably had some fun in her youth but was never abused.)

•Her pickguard has shrunken around the neck pickup, particularly on the treble side. This is why it protrudes over the German carve.
