Fender Stratocaster Partscaster 1955 Frampton Strat Recreation- Fiesta Red

Here’s a really cool Peter Frampton Stratocaster partscaster recreation of his 1955 red strat (Fiesta or Dakota Red…no one knows for sure). Peter used a 55’ Strat in songs like Show Me The Way in the mid-70’s where he wanted more clean tones. The guitar originally had a white pickguard then was upgraded at some point to tortoise shell. Note there is no Fender logo on the headstock in the onstage picture. (1975 MidNight Special performance). Unfortunately the guitar was lost in a plane crash in 1980 but later recovered and restored.

So, being a big Peter Frampton fan I wanted to create a strat copy tribute to this iconic guitar. The body is a fiesta red Squier 50’s classic vibe body with upgraded Fender full block trem and bridge. Has Fender electronics with 250k CTS pots and orange drop capacitor with Fender 5 way blade switch. Pickups are Guitar Madness Smooth Velvet Alnico II’s with staggered poles provide that warm classic 50’s Stratocaster tone.

The neck is a MightyMite gloss maple with medium jumbo frets and 9.5” radius. No fret wear and neck is smooth up and down. New Fender 2 pin tuners. New Fender logo chrome neck plate.

In Excellent condition with only some light surface scratches that are hard to see. Weighs in at 7lbs 14oz. Comes with a new Fender Deluxe gig bag. Thanks for looking and let me know if any questions.
