Wow… What an R9. This beautifully flamed, super lightweight, 2012 Kindred burst is an identical finish to the 1959 Kindred Burst featured in Beauty of the Burst and a legend of rock n roll lore. She’s also received the full set of Upgrades to bring her up to current custom shop spec.
The Customshop Burstbuckers “Wound by PS“ aren’t your typical Burst buckers. They sound better than most of the Custom buckers we've played. if you love the PAF tone, you‘ll love these humbuckers. Articulate, bright highs role off into ballsy blues tones.
• Lightly Aged all the nickel Gibson Customshop parts: ABR-1 bridge and aluminum tailpiece, switch nut and pickguard bracket.
• New Gibson Customshop Kluson Single Ring Single Line tuners lightly aged.
• REAL Butyrate M-69 historic humbucker rings in vintage cream historic spec
• REAL Butyrate customshop knobs
• Catalin Bakelite switch tip
• Paper in Oil Centralab Bumblebee capacitors
She’s in excellent condition with some small surface scratches and a few impressions, a small knick on the edge of the headstock, which I’ve done my best to show, only visible under extreme light.
The Lifton Reissue case will be included with all original case candy and paperwork.
