This is a brand new hand made headless lap steel guitar that has been designed and manufactured in Tennessee. The dimensions of the guitar are 23" (long) x 6" (wide) x 2" (tall) and it comes complete with its fitted gig bag (see figures) that is small enough to fit in the overhead bin of an aircraft.
The body is a Walnut-Maple-Walnut Sandwich, the Fretboard is Maple, and the Position Dots are Padauk. The hardware is all black with a headless bridge that is used for tuning (key included). The strings used are D' Addario and the instrument is tuned to E Standard (E-A-D-G-B-E).
The guitar comes with a P90 pickup that has a gorgeous tone, reminiscent of the warmth of the hardwoods used. A must have for the travelling lap steel player!
