Released in 1994 as a tribute to the earliest handwired Marshall amplifiers and the iconic tones of Jimi Hendrix, this rare Limited Edition Purple Stack is one of approximately only 100 units produced for the U.S. market (and 100 for Europe). These rigs were never a standard catalog item — they were built for collectors and artists who wanted the closest modern recreation of Hendrix’s towering stage setup.

Finished in striking Royal Purple tolex — a finish only originally seen on select Marshall amps in 1968 and 1972 — this stack looks every bit as powerful as it sounds. The set includes the 1959LTD Super Lead reissue head paired with 1982A and 1982B LTD 4×12 cabinets loaded with Celestion G12M Greenback reissues, delivering the unmistakable roar, punch, and expressiveness synonymous with Hendrix’s legacy.

The included Certificate of Authenticity is signed by Jim Marshall himself, making this an exceptional collector’s piece. Also included are covers for all three items.
