The Alvarez A-100 is a great mandolin for beginners or novice mandolin players. While this is not Alvarez’s top of the line mandolin, Alvarez has been know for its higher than normal craftsmanship with its mid to lower end instruments. Alvarez has discontinued this mandolin making these very hard to come by.
This one is unique in that it has a built in pickup system. I’ve used it plugged in and it sounded great.
The strings might need replacing, but overall, this is an excellent mandolin.
There are not many dings for its age. It has held up well!
Make sure to inspect the pictures for its condition!
It includes a hard shell case.
