The Ortega RMA5VS is an 8-string A-style mandolin crafted to produce rich, resonant tones with a comfortable feel and versatile dynamics for acoustic musicians. The body features an arched mahogany top and arched mahogany back and sides, yielding a clear, full acoustic voice, all coated in an open-pore vintage sunburst satin finish. The mahogany neck has a smooth satin finish and an integrated 2-way truss rod for stability.

An ovangkol fretboard hosts 20 frets and is integrated across the 345mm (13.58-inch) scale length, featuring a 28mm (1.125-inch) nut width. Tonal power is delivered by the resonant all-mahogany body construction. Aesthetic detailing includes F-holes and ABS inlays. Hardware appointments include an ovangkol bridge and Ortega geared diecast tuners, ensuring precise tuning stability.

Shipping Policy
Free ground shipping within the continental USA. Items under $20 will have a $9.95 shipping charge. We do not offer international shipping.
We cannot ship to a PO Box. Orders require a physical mailing address to be processed.
All orders over $500 will be shipped with a direct Signature Requirement to ensure it is received. If the signature requirement is refused, the customer will assume responsibility for the package once it reaches the delivery address.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm CST. Shipments are prepared in the order that they are received. We make every effort to expedite orders as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee ship dates. Please allow up to 3 business days for tracking information.
