The pair is discolored and dull which is normal with being close to 100 years old. These hi hats have an amazing deep dark sound great for blues, rock, jazz or vintage use. The cymbals were owned by Sunny Schreff who was with the Paul Whitman Orchestra in the 1920s. Schreff also was known as America’s Foremost Xylophonist in his vaudeville act days.
