I am offering a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Eriza Verde from 2017, the manufactured in Stevensville, Maryland (USA), Core luxury version of the Custom 24, with a solid mahogany body (weighing only 3.19kg), impressively figured flame maple top, set-in mahogany neck with Pattern Thin neck profile and 42.9mm Black TUSQ nut, elegant East Indian rosewood fingerboard with elaborate abalone and pearl bird inlays and 24 medium frets, two versatile PRS USA 85/15 humbucker pickups in a class of their own, high-quality PRS Gen III tremolo bridge and PRS Phase III locking tuners in a beautiful Eriza Verde high-gloss finish with nickel hardware in mint condition, including black PRS luxury hardshell case, manufacturer's papers, and professional setup with 10-gauge Elixir strings.

It all started for PRS in 1985 with the Custom 24. In addition to the “PRS Model,” which is known today as the standard, the Custom was the flagship model at PRS for many years and was played by some of the most famous guitarists ever, from Al Di Meola and John Mayer to Nuno Bettencourt. No wonder that even after 30 years, the CU24 is still being built and is more popular than ever.

Equipped with a spectacular flamed maple top, it has everything you would expect from a good USA PRS. Beautiful woods and top-notch craftsmanship are a given with PRS, and this Core model comes in a rare Eriza Verde high-gloss finish with nickel hardware and intricately crafted abalone and mother-of-pearl bird inlays.

The slim Pattern Thin neck profile fits comfortably in the hand, and the playability is sensational, as you would expect from PRS. At PRS, they take over a month to craft a neck, and the result speaks for itself. The Custom 24 features 24 meticulously inlaid medium frets in an East Indian rosewood fingerboard—unlike the 22, however, it's not just two more frets, but the position of the pickups also differs by a few centimeters, which of course is also noticeable in the sound.

The two 85/15 humbuckers, which are operated via the 5-way switch, ensure the good sound in this PRS. Although they remain in humbucker mode in all positions, different coil combinations and winding numbers (keyword “coil tap”) also allow for appealing, stripped-down singlecoil sounds.

This PRS Custom 24 is in absolutely mint condition, has never been played, and is technically flawless. It also has no visible signs of wear (see pictures). The frets are immaculate.
