Bass was purchased brand new and it has remained in the case since the day it was purchased.THIS IS BRAND NEW!!! I opened the box to check it out. I plugged it in tuned it up played it put it back in the box. I could’ve taken it back to the store and got all my money back but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I own an original 1966 fender Jazz Bass and I bought this one because I didn’t wanna take mine out on gigs. It honestly plays like my original 66 as some things I like better about it other things I don’t and since I don’t ever play it I’d rather someone else have it at a discounted price instead of $2695 like you see on here left and right.
