1992 Gretsch G6122S Country Classic I – “The Whiskey Walnut Rocket” – Walnut Stain, Bigsby-Loaded, Pro-Setup Hit Maker!
Step right up, twang enthusiasts! This isn’t just a guitar… it’s a time machine straight to the golden era of country rock ‘n’ roll!
Picture this: a stunning Walnut Stain finish that glows like aged bourbon under stage lights, classic Bigsby vibrato gleaming like it’s ready to bend hearts, gold hardware popping against that deep, rich grain, and those legendary Filter’Tron pickups just begging to spit out that signature Gretsch “That Great Gretsch Sound” – chimey, woody, and dripping with vintage swagger.
This 1992 Country Classic I has been gently loved (just a few honest light scratches and scuffs on the back – think “road-worn cool,” not beat-up). The front? Near-mint and showroom shiny. Recently treated to a full professional setup – low, slinky action, perfect intonation, fresh strings – it plays like butter and sounds absolutely massive unplugged or cranked.
Maple neck, ebony board, neo-classic thumbnail inlays, cowboy case-ready… everything you’d expect from a top-shelf Gretsch from the golden early-’90s run.
If you’ve been chasing that Brian Setzer, Chet Atkins, or Duane Eddy vibe, here’s your ticket. This one’s dialed in, stage-ready, and looking for its next forever home.

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy
We follow Reverb’s 7-day return policy. However:
- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.
- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described.
We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.
Minor adjustments and tweaks to a set up (for example to correct a slight buzz or truss-rod tweak) are normal after shipping due to carrier mishandling the package, climate & atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute “significantly not as described.” Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.
We are a small business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post purchase haggling or partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs—we do not.
