Here we have quite rare Electron SPS-1 Machine Drum in near mint cosmetic condition. It came in from a smoke free estate used for a short time on a large inner city studio recording project. The unit was tested and checked completely buy our technician of 40 years and was functioning perfectly.

We sold it and shipped it and it worked fine for 2 weeks and quit. We refunded our customer and are now selling 'AS IS'. My technician said the CPU board is dead. The brains of the unit quit working.

So the unit lights up but does 'NOT WORK'

• Sound Generation: The Machinedrum uses digital synthesis and features four different percussion synthesizer engines ("MD-synths"):
• • TRX: Emulates classic Roland TR-series drum machines (like the 808 and 909).
  • EFM: Uses FM synthesis to create a wide range of electronic percussion sounds.
  • E12: A sample-playback synth using sounds inspired by the E-mu SP1200 and Simmons electronic drums.
  • PI: Uses physical modeling to create more realistic acoustic drum sounds.
• Sequencer: It features a powerful 16-track Elektron sequencer with up to 64 steps per pattern. The sequencer supports step recording and real-time recording, with advanced features like parameter locks (locking specific sound parameters to individual steps), accent, swing, and slide.

• Connectivity: Features comprehensive I/O, including multiple individual audio outputs, stereo audio inputs for processing external signals, a headphone jack, and full MIDI In/Out/Thru support.

One day a while back Andre 3000 and his group stopped in to browse as they were playing Masonic Temple that night and right after that we sold an old oil can Morley Wah Vibrato pedal to Credence Clearwater Revival's thee John Fogerty!

We are having and have had a lot of fun here at Gordy's Music! I was just remembering about 35 years ago a tour bus pulled up to our little shop, and who rolls right in and hangs out for an hour? Lenny Kravitz and his entire group, right about the same time I was selling many guitars to and chauffeuring around Dee Dee Ramone who had an apartment a block down from my house.
