Guitar numbered with a 3 digit-digit number indicating its place in the total guitars produced. Extremely rare 1959 Nickel cover tribute pickups. They only made these pickups for two years and then moved them to the 58 and 59 R8 and R9 reissue guitars. 2015 was the only year with nickel covers, the 2014 were chrome covers. The pickups are almost impossible to find and are collectible in their own right. A true smoke show of an instrument. Rare full one piece Mahogany body and top. Thicker one piece bound rosewood fretboard. Gibson electronics. Trapezoid inlays. Amazing quality craftsmanship. The nonsense associated with the dysfunctional robot tuners have been replaced with proper Grover tuners that Gibson uses. Adjustable nickel-plated zero-fret nut. A true collectors guitar. Has a couple of minor blemishes.
