Used - Good Condition

  • Body: there is a lot of really cool checking in the finish on the top, back, and sides, plus some scuff marks, scratches, dings, and dents can be seen on the top, back, and sides as well as a few small chips in the finish--very light buckle rash; the pickguard has some scratches on it from normal playing; the binding is all intact, but does show a slight aged tint
  • Neck, Fretboard, and Headstock: the fretboard has some very shallow dips before the first four frets and the binding has the same aged tint as that found on the body; the back of the neck has some checking in the lacquer, mainly around the neck heel, plus a few scratches and small dings can be found that should not affect comfort or playability; the back of the headstock has some cool checking in the lacquer and some scuff marks and scratches can be seen on the front, back, and sides with some more obvious scrapes around the edges
  • Action and Playability: the action is nice and low and the neck is slightly bowed forward, however the truss rod functions properly
  • Frets: moderate wear with some small grooves starting to form in the first three frets, however there is no fret out or buzzing at this time
  • Hardware: all looks fantastic
  • Electronics: all functions flawlessly; the bridge pickup has a few tiny dings/dents in it and the neck pickup's finish has lost some of its sheen below the high e-string
  • Includes: electric guitar and original hardshell case

Here's a true vintage gem...1966 Gibson ES-330TD! The ES-330 is a fully hollow thinline double cutaway, meaning it lacks the center wood block found on its semi-hollowbody counterpart, the ES-335. Also in contrast to the 335, the 330TD was built with a pair of P-90 pickups as opposed to humbuckers, and with a neck joint at the 17th fret instead of the 19th fret. The ES-330 was released in 1959 for a retail price of $275.00. Like most all American-made classics around that time, the value has gone up over the decades and will certainly continue to do so...make this one yours while you can afford it!
