1977 MXR Blue Box MX-103 Sub Octave Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal
Our users rate Reverb
Today, for your consideration - a 1977 MXR Blue Box! If you’re looking for a nice vintage example to use on stage or in rougher atmospheres, this is definitely the one to consider. This pedal came in non functioning and was swiftly sent off to our good friend Pete at Pete’s Pedals in Charlottesville. He diagnosed and found faulty caps and other discrete components including the jacks and switch, changing only what needed to be and getting this pedal back into fighting shape. It sounds fantastic and provides all that sub octave fuzz that these little buggers are known for- nice and reliable for many moons to come. Put her on your pedalboard and she’s ready to go!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you for looking and have a great day!
