RARE! Hamer USA Special 1981 Checkered Head Early Sunburst Made in USA American Vintage Case_295

Very RARE!!! Vintage Hamer Special in Sunburst color. Made in USA in 1981, one of the first years, rare checkered headstock, ink stamped serial number.

Condition: Guitar has some wear, scratches, wear marks, finish checking, darkened spots, some places look like old repairs, but overall guitar looks well preserved for a 40+ year instrument.  Other than that condition is quite good - see detailed photos.

There are some finish checking, buckle wear spot on back and chips. There are horizontal lines on the back of headstock where it meets the neck, these are not cracks in the wood, it's finish checking.
