Harvey Gerlitz started building custom cabinets for other manufacturers including Matchless for their Exotic cabinets. The Gerlitz amplifier company was founded to create one specific design by combining two other products into one.
The G1 "Revelator" Dual Amp has the sounds of a Marshall Plexi unit and a Fender Blackface all in one amp. The Blackface is based around a Deluxe Super Reverb (mid-1960s) and the Marshall Plexi around a 50 Watt Lead (late 1960s). Gerlitz is no longer building amplifiers as of circa 2007.
This one is in perfect shape, and works as new. The footswitch is specially designed and included as well
