Over 40 years, the wood has naturally aged, resulting in a blend of overtones that is as natural as a vintage microphone, instantly recognizable at the touch. The light, dry tone, with a solid midrange and gentle tone that only mahogany can produce, is produced.
While D-18s from the 1970s and earlier continue to rise in price, the 1980s era is still just about within the realm of affordable vintage.

- Bridge plate repair, strap pin installation, endpin extension, saddle replacement, pickguard replacement, bridge pin replacement, Martin crack repair (reinforced)
