Play a piece of bass history with this rare White Steinberger XL-2! This bass sounds incredible with a great easy to play setup. 

This is a one owner bass! It was professionally re-fretted in the mid-90's so the frets are in excellent shape now!  In 2021 the original preamp was upgraded to a HAZ Active EQ for Steinberger so it sounds MASSIVE!  Both of these jobs were done by Mark Herbert who is known for his work for Pat Matheny and many others. 

The bass is in well played condition.  The top has yellowed with age and there are some wear markings throughout.  On the neck towards the end there are some black marks that appear to be blemishes within the finish itself but still feels smooth, it doesn't feel rough or like cracked finish.  Other than the blemishes from being a well played bass that is now 40 years old, this bass is working exactly as it should!
