2023 Gibson ’80s Explorer Ebony

Up for sale is my 2023 Gibson ’80s Explorer in Ebony. This is an excellent example of Gibson’s current ’80s Explorer reissue and weighs just 7 lbs 3 oz, making it a comfortable, well-balanced guitar without sacrificing the power and sustain the Explorer is known for.

The guitar has been carefully cared for since new and has spent nearly all of its life stored in its original Gibson hard shell case. It is completely original, plays exceptionally well, and has minimal fret wear. The neck is straight, the action is low, and all electronics function exactly as they should.

Equipped with Gibson’s 80s Tribute humbuckers, this Explorer delivers everything from articulate cleans to aggressive classic rock and high-gain tones while maintaining excellent clarity and sustain.

Cosmetic Condition

The guitar shows only light signs of careful use, including:

• Light surface swirl marks consistent with normal handling
• A small finish impression near the headstock (pictured)
• A small finish chip on one lower body point (pictured)

These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the playability or structural integrity of the instrument.
